The Season of Darkness

God will hold you in His care,
Never think that He's not there.
Remember the story of the "Footprints In the Sand",
It's now that He holds you in the palm of His hand.

The heart wrenching pain and agony you go through,
He is there by your side with comfort right on cue.
He uses lots of people that are right before your eyes,
To reach out and touch you when circumstance realised.

It helps to talk out your thoughts and fears,
Even though it gushes forth a fountain of salty tears.
Don't keep your pain locked up inside,
It will only hurt you to run and hide.

Miraculously He'll lift you from the terror of despair,
Its then that you'll understand the depths of His great care.
You're surrounded by a vast sea of love,
That was prepared for you by God above.

The power of love will carry you on,
Through the season of darkness till the light is shone.
Please don't think that you're on your own,
I have brought you in prayer to Gods great throne.

I know that He's listened to all that I've said,
He reminded me that Jesus gave His life and Bled,
So you could be comforted and brought great hope
That together you and He will more than cope.
